English Week at the Faculty of Pedagogy ✨📚

As part of English Week at the Faculty of Pedagogy, our students took part in a fun and dynamic event – "Around the English-speaking world". The atmosphere was full of excitement, creativity, and team spirit!

Students showed great enthusiasm and teamwork while completing a variety of tasks.

 

🔤 Rhyming Game – Teams created rhyming pairs like cat – mat, pen – ten, and more. Poetry vibes! 🎶

 

💡 Adjective Match-Up – Students paired words like blue sky and green grass. Language + logic = success! ✅

 

🧠 Riddles in English – Guessing games had them thinking hard:
"I have two hands, I hang on the wall..." ⏰

 

📚 Sentence Building – Rearranging words into correct English sentences.

 

🧩 Proverb Puzzle – Students matched English proverbs with Ukrainian ones.
Example: "A friend in need is a friend indeed" ➡️ Друг пізнається в біді.

 

📝 Crossword Challenge – Teams raced to complete English-themed crosswords. The fastest team earned valuable points! 🧩🏁

 

🧠 Quiz Time – Three rounds of trivia covering the UK, sports, holidays, and famous places like Big Ben and Tower Bridge. 🇬🇧

 

🎭 Mime Challenge – From acting out “tennis” to “cooking,” students made everyone laugh and guess! 😂🎾🍳

 

🗣 Quick Tasks – Name 5 fruits, say the ABCs, tell us about your family – students impressed with their fluency and creativity! 🌟

 

The event not only tested students’ knowledge of English-speaking countries but also boosted their communication and critical thinking skills. Events like this help make language learning engaging and memorable.
